Juncker’s secret plans to dictate to EU nations revealed

AN EU Commission stealth plan to dictate to member Governments how they should run their countries has been unearthed by Express.co.uk.

Jean-Claude Juncker has plans to create a homogenised EU super-state
And, as predicted by the  campaign, it appears to be a thinly-veiled attempt by Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker to create a homogenised EU super-state.
The plans were in place BEFORE Britain’s historic in June – but they were quietly buried so as not to alert British voters to the longer-term future of the EU.
Juncker’s plans are being presented as a charter on social rights – but what they actually do is dictate wage structures and employment conditions Europe-wide.
Now that Britain is preparing to leave the EU Juncker wants to give a new push to this “European pillar of social rights.”
He claimed he wanted to add a “social” dimension to EU policy.

The plans were kept quiet before the Brexit vote
Belgium’s Marianne Thyssen, the European commissioner in charge of employment, social affairs and labour mobility, to push the initiative, and she’s spent the past few months gauging support for the possible changes in  with NGOs, business groups and trade unions.
Britain had long led opposition to attempts by the Commission to standardise employment legislation, such as on remuneration, parental leave, anti-discrimination and pension reform.

Juncker claimed he wanted to add a 'social' dimension to EU policy
Consecutive Governments have argued that the EU is not allowed to dictate to its member countries how they should run their social welfare systems – that is down to Britain’s elected representatives in parliament.
But it seems the concerns were ignored and Thyssen persevered anyway. In March, the Commission released a “preliminary outline” of the plan, proposing initiatives that include the introduction of eurozone rules on the minimum wage, new rights on “quality education and training” and measures to ensure gender quality and protection from discrimination.

The proposals would also effectively make judges in all EU nation states subservient to a court in Strasbourg.
Currently only a ‘consultation process’ is under way and it will be difficult to force countries to toe the line. But part of this consultation process is to identify the legal way forward in this area.
UKIP MEP Bill Etheridge said "no wonder they were desperate to keep this away from the British public; it's a nail in the coffin for sovereign member states!
"But we should not be complacent: we still have not triggered Article 50 and any watering down of Brexit could drag us back into this social charter for a United States of Europe.
"Leave means leave - it doesn't mean Brexit lite with pathetic concessions.
“These sorts of policies are the kind a post EU UK needs to break free from. We need to create an environment where businesses can flourish and jobs are created. The EU is the antithesis of this.
"No wonder the economies of the EU are collapsing if the people in charge wouldn't know a non Keynesian economic policy if it hit them on the head shouting 'Adam Smith'."
Yorkshire MEP Mike Hookem added: "This is a warning to those calling for a second referendum what a narrow escape we have had and highlights the warnings UKIP spoke about during the campaign.
"UKIP is the only game in town in places like Yorkshire and the midlands for everyday folk who believe in their country and want a decent wage and control of our borders."
